ABOUT US

RAS Capital is a Boutique Asset Manager with over £100M under management. We focus on Short to Medium Term Real Estate Debt finance as well as providing Mezzanine Finance.

RAS Capital invests in fully secured real estate debt, also known as “bridge finance”. We run a series of investment vehicles, offering specific risk and investment metrics depending on our client’s needs.

Our investor base ranges from High Net Worth Individuals and Family Offices to Global Financial Institutions.

Assad Amin

RAS Capital Co-founder

Assad spent 20 years working in the Investment Banking industry at Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan and most recently at RBS. Global risk management, business process and control, and definition of strategy were all key aspects of his roles. Assad co-founded RAS Capital in 2013 with Ed Spencer.

Ed Spencer

RAS Capital Co-founder

Ed co-founded RAS Capital with Assad Amin in 2013. He started his career working in the structured finance departments of two of the UK’s largest real estate consultancy firms before moving on to create his own independent, project finance advisory business. He is a fully qualified RICS surveyor.

Gosia Osak

Head of Finance and Operations

Gosia graduated with a degree in Finance and Accounting in 2016 and has over 10 years of experience in the property sector. Her background includes senior roles in lettings and client accounts, where she developed strong expertise in the financial and legal aspects of property management. Gosia joined RAS Capital in June 2026 as Head of Finance & Operations, where she is responsible for financial management, operational oversight, and management reporting.

Anastasija Trusele

Credit Manager

As a Credit Manager at RAS Capital, Anastasija focuses on credit risk assessment, underwriting, and loan portfolio management. With a strong background in specialist property finance, she has developed extensive experience in underwriting and credit, most recently serving as a Senior Bridging Underwriter at a London-based bridging lender.

As a Credit Manager at RAS Capital, Anastasija focuses on credit risk assessment, underwriting, and loan portfolio management. With a strong background in specialist property finance, she has developed extensive experience in underwriting and credit, most recently serving as a Senior Bridging Underwriter at a London-based bridging lender.
